Tegeingl - the festival of hidden folk
A brand new Folk Festival was held in Mold on the 15th-16th August, 2008, reflecting the rich art and folk culture that has developed and survived here in the land of the Decangli across the centuries. Tegeingl / Flintshire’s location on the border with the ebb and flow of cultures has contributed to the rich and unique mixture of history, heritage and art found here. The festival was an open door to the best of Welsh entertainment and culture, and a stage in Wales for artists from across the world, a mix of folk dances, tunes and tales from our region, side by side with those from other cultures.
